You're invited to the Community Power Forum.

Pull up a chair. This is where community power gets talked into existence.

The Community Power Forum is a monthly call that brings together developers, capital providers, technical assistance partners, and philanthropic investors working to advance distributed energy and storage projects. This work builds on the National Laboratory of the Rockies Community Power Accelerator.

Already a member? Every session, recording, and thread lives in the platform.

Who you'll be in the room with: the developers, tribes, towns, CDFIs, green banks, and technical assistance providers advancing community-owned power, organizations like GRID Alternatives, Re-volv, NRDC, and Housing Partnership Network. The forum also carries forward the Community Power Accelerator community, which moved to The Center in 2026.

What an hour actually looks like

The agenda barely changes month to month, that's the point. Regulars know exactly when to bring their ask.

01

Welcome & community updates

Who's new, what's coming up across the network.

02

Community-led energy deployment discussion

The month's main conversation, a deal structure, a policy shift, a project story worth unpacking.

03

The needs round

Two questions, asked every month: What's the biggest challenge facing your project right now? And where could this network help, financing, technical assistance, a partnership?

04

Working group updates

Predevelopment, Deal Rooms, Safe Harbor, Creative Facilities, Secondary Markets, Data & AI, two minutes each.

05

Commercials & open discussion

The round-robin: share a project, the state of your capital, an open request. This is where the introductions happen.

Come for the call. Stay for the working groups.

The forum is the front door to The Center's working groups, standing teams of members building the shared plumbing of community-power finance. Join whichever one matches your fight.

Predevelopment Network

Closing the gap that stalls the most projects: early money for studies, engineering, and site control.

Deal Rooms

The matchmaking engine, eight sessions a month connecting ready projects with active capital.

Safe Harbor

Structures that lock in tax-credit eligibility while projects finish their stacks.

Creative Facilities

New lending structures for deals that don't fit standard boxes.

Secondary Markets

Standardizing community infrastructure loans so capital can recycle into the next project.

Data & AI

Tools that cut project development costs, from grant matching to project digital twins.
